Before & After School Child Care:

For grades Kindergarten through sixth, we offer year round before and after school childcare at the following state-licensed sites on the elementary school campuses of:

• Elderberry Elementary
• Mountain View Elementary

We serve children and their families by fulfilling an important need for children by developing a healthy self-esteem and positive self-worth using the YMCA Character Development traits of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Our programs achieve these goals through organized activities that include homework help, creative arts, recreational sports and Youth fitness, games, and healthy snacks.

Transportation:

YMCA Van transportation is available for the following schools:

Elderberry – Hawthorne, Howard, Edison, Central, El Camino, Mariposa, Buena Vista, Berlyn plus others upon request.

Mt. View – Creek View, Grace Yokely, Ranch View, Bonview, Liberty & Levi Dickey.

Hours of operation:

Open from 6:30 to 8:30 am and 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.

At this time we are only able to serve Kindergartners in AM classes for before and after school care.

Financial Aid: Financial Assistance is available to assist families who qualify in managing the cost of program fees. Applications can be obtained from all West End YMCA branches.
