BELONG TO A GREAT COMMUNITY
When you join the Y, you're joining a family - a family that will support you as you create new experiences, have fun adventures and deepen your sense of community.
Knowing how to swim is a life-saving skill that opens up a vast array of opportunities to stay fit, develop self-confidence, build relationships and safely enjoy outdoor aquatic activities like snorkeling, surfing, river rafting and more!
Our competitive swim team (West End Wolverines) is offered for swimmers interested in building their teamwork and competitive swimming skills. Students in our swim team practice five days a week and participate in competitions with other swim teams.
Did you know that Basketball was INVENTED at the YMCA? There's no better place to improve your skills!
Whether you root for Chivas USA or LA Galaxy, you’ll love the Youth Soccer program at our Y because it’s an exciting blend of team play and individual skills. There are no try-outs, no one gets cut and we promise there are no benchwarmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new soccer skills and techniques.
Did you know that the sport of volleyball was originally created by the YMCA? The first volleyball game was played at Springfield College in 1896, and we have been in love with the sport ever since.
With so many demands on today's families and the increased focus on early brain development, families need all of the support they can get to nurture the potential of youth. That's why child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Youth movement programs are a great way to stay active and healthy.
The Y provides programs and activities that promote wellness, reduce risk for disease and help others reclaim their health. These programs and everything else the Y does are in service of making us – our Y’s and our communities – better. The result is a country that values health and communities that support healthy choices.

All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. We give your camper adventurous outdoor games, hiking, swimming and fun opportunities to develop leadership, team-building, and social skills. We'll keep our minds active through our Camp Readers program. When your child is asked what they did this summer, they'll have a great answer!
Summer Resident Camping is a YMCA tradition without equal. We offer a traditional Summer Resident Camp program with all of the classic Summer Camp activities. Children learn about the outdoors, build meaningful and lasting friendships, and develop memories that will last through the years
