Swim Team Coach - Scheu Family YMCA of Upland

Join our team at the Upland facility as a swim team coach, where you will be responsible for various age-group coaching duties with an emphasis on safety, proper skill development, seasonal planning, daily workouts, and goal setting. Swim team coaches foster a positive atmosphere that promotes student safety and engagement while presenting themselves in an exemplary manner to maintain an upbeat, optimistic, and passionate attitude about the YMCA during their shifts.

Compensation: $16.75/hour

Childcare Teachers & Van Drivers:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable Child Care Teacher for our Before/After School Child Care program. Position will also require assisting with Child Care van routes. Applicant should have a passion working with children (K - 6th grade) in a classroom setting, assisting and planning the education curriculum.

Compensation: $16.50/hr - $17/hr

Childcare (Kid Zone) - Scheu Family YMCA of Upland

Join our dynamic Kid Zone team as a Child Care Specialist, where you'll provide attentive and compassionate care to children ranging from 2 months to 11 years old. Youth Sports and Movement Instructor (Part-Time) - Scheu Family YMCA of Upland

The Youth Sports and Movement Instructor will lead Parent & Me classes designed for children aged 2–5 years old. This position focuses on helping children develop motor skills, coordination, and confidence through sports fundamentals and basic tumbling activities in a fun, interactive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sports or fitness, including basic tumbling experience, and will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. They must also be skilled at engaging young children and guiding parents on how to support their child's development. The instructor will foster a welcoming, positive atmosphere that encourages learning and fun for all participants.
