Meet Our Personal Trainers

Coach Tracy (Upland)

Coach Tracy:

Tracy is the Fitness Director for the YMCA and has over 15 years experience as a Personal Trainer and specializes in working with women clients who want to get started on their fitness journey or are already actively exercising and want to take lifting and training to the next level. She has experience working with women of all ages and takes a personal approach to training her clients. Her areas of expertise are weight loss, working with aging adults, exercise technique and making exercise fun so that her clients look forward to coming to the gym.

Certifications: NCEP Personal Trainer, DOTFit Certified Trainer

Coach Rita (Upland)

Rita, a dedicated fitness professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. Since 2011, she has been passionately guiding individuals on their journey to improved strength, balance, and flexibility through her expertise in Pilates, yoga, and barre. Rita likes to work with clients who want to build their strength through a variety of techniques including weight training and Pilates Reformer.

Certifications: STOTT Pilates, American Sports & Fitness Certified

Coach Mitchell (Upland)

Mitchell Dunavant graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Azusa Pacific in 2020 and is hoping to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He previously worked as a physical therapist aide for 4 years prior to joining the YMCA as a coach. During his time at the physical therapy clinic, he helped teach corrective exercise techniques to patients of all age ranges. His areas of expertise are exercise technique, recovery methods, sports performance, and sport skills training. He currently coaches two classes, Foundations of Strength Training and Youth Sports Performance, and offers private personal training sessions.

Coach Marsha (Chino)

Marsha worked at the Chino Y for 18 years, left, came back and has been back for 5 years. Marsha has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor for well over 30 years. Marsha works with men/ women of all ages and enjoys guiding her clients on their fitness or rehab journey. Marsha will set you up for success whether it's you are new to fitness or actively fit. Her areas of expertise are strength training, exercise technique and working with all ages. Marsha instructs Yoga, stretch, and a variety of Cardio Strength classes.

Certifications: AFAA certified personal trainer, Les Mills Certified, NASM certified in * corrective exercise specialist, performance enhancement, youth exercise specialist, Yoga certified, Pop Pilates certified, Silver Sneakers certified

Coach Austin (Upland & Chino)

Austin is a Physique and Bodybuilding coach with a passion for fitness and nutrition. With over a decade of experience in bodybuilding, athletics, and nutritional coaching, Austin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. His comprehensive understanding of fitness and body sculpting techniques, combined with a personalized approach to diet and nutrition, enables him to create highly effective training programs tailored to individual goals. 

Certifications: NASM-certified Trainer, Physique and Bodybuilding coach, DOTFit Certified Trainer

Coach Rachelle (Upland & Chino)

Rachelle has cultivated experience in various rehab settings since 2012 and has developed a passion for working with athletes and patients during the injury prevention and post-operative phases of their care.  She utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities including traditional physical therapy exercises and Pilates.
